Welcome to the Dragon Academy, an independent private school in Toronto. We are a co-ed school, serving grades 7 through 12, offering a rigorous and stimulating education in an intimate and supportive setting. While the Dragon Academy is challenging, with high academic standards and a demanding curriculum, it also has a truly welcoming atmosphere. Our students are encouraged to achieve their best by a dedicated and caring faculty and by the sense of community that binds staff, students and parents alike. More than an academic institution, The Dragon Academy builds character. The school fosters ideals of scholarship, personal growth and community responsibility.

35 Prince Arthur is the historically listed Alexander MacDonald House, a lovely Victorian fantasy of the medieval. Mr. MacDonald realized the idea that a man’s home is his castle by adding turrets, battlements and crenellations to his façade. Number 35’s most recent owners let in light on all sides, and brought the old building up to the highest standards of heating, air conditioning, plumbing, wiring and interior design.

We are located in the Yorkville area, near the Royal Ontario Museum, the Gardiner Ceramic Museum and the University of Toronto campus. We are very close to the TTC, convenient to the Bay, St. George, and Museum stations. If you would like to visit us, please call us at (416) 323-3243, or e-mail our principal, Dr. Meg Fox.

We are enjoying spacious classrooms, quality facilities and comfort, while keeping our cozy sense of running a home-like school. And there’s room to grow without crowding or bumping our heads.
